Our library is 100 years old! The current building was built in November of 1917, using funds from a Carnegie grant. See photo to the right for a picture of the library in 1917. To celebrate, we would like to come up with a logo to be put on book bags, so we are having a logo contest.
Guidelines: Deadline is Dec. 15, 2017. Entries are free and may be mailed (501 Clark St., Reinbeck 50669), dropped off in person, or submitted by email to email@example.com. Please include your name and contact information.
Logo must be easily resized, look good in black and white or color, and be suitable for printing. If emailed, acceptable formats are JPG and PDF. Entrants should be careful that their entries are not similar to existing logos or other copyrighted images, and are original artwork.
Logo must contain the words Reinbeck Public Library and the dates 1917-2017. Winning logo will be the property of the Reinbeck Public Library, to publish, display, or reproduce, to use in advertising through any media including, but not limited to book bags, social media, website, signs, posters and brochures. The winning design will be decided on Dec. 22, 2017 by the board and staff of the Reinbeck Library. The winner will receive recognition on the library website, newspaper, and given the right to to identify him/herself as the logo designer, as well as the right to use the basic logo.
